The Baptist State Convention of Michigan (BSCM) is the statewide organization that unites Southern Baptist churches and associations across Michigan for the purpose of advancing the gospel together. It provides leadership, resources, training, and strategic partnerships to help churches grow in health, size, and spiritual impact.

BSCM is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) and supports the Cooperative Program—our denomination’s unified plan for mission funding across North America and the world.

Purpose & Mission:
  • Assist local churches with ministry development, evangelism, and discipleship
  • Plant new churches throughout Michigan and surrounding areas
  • Revitalize existing churches through coaching, consulting, and resources
  • Train pastors and leaders to serve effectively in today’s cultural and spiritual landscape
  • Coordinate mission efforts both statewide and globally

The BSCM helps connect churches not only to each other, but to the broader mission of reaching the lost, making disciples, and glorifying God in every corner of Michigan.
